Richard (Rick) Thoben, MBA
CEO & Medicare Representative
Rick was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended Southport High School in Indianapolis, Indiana where he participated in three sports and achieved scholastic achievements. Rick is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a BS in Business Administration, while he participated as a 3-year letter winner for the baseball team. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan.
His business career commenced as a Bank Examiner for the Indiana Department of Institutions for 6 years and then he progressed into the insurance industry as a sales representative in the P&C market and group healthcare; in 2006 he transitioned to the senior market. Since 2006, Rick worked at Humana and Anthem as a “captive” agent—gaining vast knowledge of the industry.
Today, Rick works extensively with businesses and individuals in finding efficient solutions to their insurance needs. He understands the complexities that arise in benefit plans and strives to be an advocate for his clients. Rick enjoys working closely with clients and takes pleasure with the relationships that have evolved over the years.
When Rick is not working, you will find him with his family, enjoying the outdoors, coaching, playing golf, and vacationing in Fort Myers, Florida.
Steve P. Keefe
President & Director of Marketing
Steve was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended Southport High School in Indianapolis, where he played baseball and football while majoring in English and Culinary Arts. He became an assistant manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken right out of high school and at the age of nineteen began his insurance career with Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company. He was the Indiana Regional Representative of the Year in 1991 and in 1993 was promoted to Indiana Regional Sales Trainer and then Sales Director in 1994. His insurance career has spanned 36 years with various insurance companies and positions. He was also the owner of B & C Consultants from 1996-2002, which specialized in employee benefits for small to medium size businesses.
He enjoys helping seniors select the “right plan” for them. Steve truly enjoys working for our customers and their families and especially enjoys our annual review process with each customer.
Steve is active in his community and has always been involved in philanthropy.
He is the Founder and former President of the Board of Directors of The Martinsville Youth and Development Center as well as The Carol Cutter Benefit Fund. He is also a former scout for The Pittsburgh Pirates and formerly helped Mike Gibbons with The New York Yankees.
When Steve is not working, you will find him with his family, boating, coaching, and playing golf.

Joan Clarey
Medicare Representative
Joan Clarey has a long list of accomplishments and a passion for giving back to her community. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Joan spent her early childhood years there before moving to Chicago at the age of 5. Eventually, she found her way to Indianapolis at age 23, where she has lived ever since.
Joan has had a diverse career, with experience in sales support, real estate, and insurance. After working with Ryland Homes and Century 21, she decided to become an independent Medicare agent in 2009. Joan's dedication and expertise in her field have earned her a reputation as a trusted and reliable resource for her clients, who appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond to ensure they receive the best possible care.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Joan is also an active member of her community. She is passionate about gardening and has even earned certification for her yard as a wildlife habitat. Joan also volunteers with several organizations, including Indy Reads, Child Advocate, Brightlane Learning, St. Francis Eucharist ministry, and St. Vincent Depaul, where she has been involved for an impressive 14 years.
Joan's commitment to her community is a reflection of her deep-rooted values and her love for helping others. She is a dedicated mother of three and a loving grandmother to five grandchildren whom she cherishes. Joan's family is a significant part of her life, and she values the time she spends with them immensely.

Joan was married for 36 years, her husband Richard, passed away in 2002. She has two children and two grandchildren.
When Joan is not working, you will find her with the family, watching the grandchildren, volunteering, and now owns a vacation home in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Jane Keefe
Travel Insurance & Marketing Support Specialist
Jane Keefe is the wife of Steve and the mother of three children; Ryan, Matt, and Molly where they reside in Martinsville, IN, in Foxcliff estates. Jane has been a travel agent for 30 years and has helped Medicare Your Way for the past ten years. She attended Southport high school and was involved in different clubs. She was the number one player on the high school golf team her junior year. Jane enjoys serving non-profits and helping underprivileged children. When not working, Jane enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and playing golf.
Jane is a dedicated travel agent with decades of experience in the industry. She is known for her exceptional customer service and attention to detail, always going above and beyond to ensure her clients have an unforgettable travel experience.
In addition to her work in the travel industry, Jane has been an invaluable member of the Medicare Your Way team for the past ten years. Her expertise and dedication have helped countless individuals and families navigate the complex world of insurance to find the right plan for their needs.
Despite her busy schedule, Jane always finds time to give back to her community. She is passionate about serving non-profits and helping underprivileged children. She has volunteered with various organizations, including local food banks and children's charities.
When not working or volunteering, Jane enjoys spending time with her family. She loves boating and playing golf with her husband and children. Jane is a kind and compassionate person who is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. When not working, Jane enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and playing golf.
